Learning to Let

Leaving

In ruin stone and green overgrown,
Days before the world then dance.
Yet queer in chance by charming trance,
Of bonded hearts that brightly shown.
If light then blind your gentle sight,
None shall want your soul.
For lovers role of purposeless goal,
Terrible fate in the blight.

Of a boy of flesh, prime and fresh,
Visit the love every day.
As long the ray is here to stay,
Her heart remains as strong as mesh.
But if such hour has fallen to power,
Darkness returns at last.
As the final cast of lovers past,
He must learn to let as she were.

In ruin stone and green overgrown.
Ghosts she was and evermore.
