Wrought by the flames it seize such all,
Merciless waves and vicious thrall.
Fire plagues of stone and flesh,
Bright in its rays, so strong and fresh.
For the magic was scorn by religious folk,
Men who disdain by the powers they awoke.
For an aging king that passes the throne,
By a maiden of fire, that is all alone.
