The Tree of Wishes

Tree of Wishes by Selenada

From the distant, lonely, wishing tree,
With one final wish it longs to be free.
For the mortal soul that share to fine,
The utter curse that makes them blind.
For every want came with a price
A worse than death they couldn’t splice.
And though my petals, drift into the breeze,
They’re like trail for souls to seize.
