The Going Home

From summer days to long winter’s night,
Random deeds, frivolous acts and arduous sight.
On the winding road from front and back,
The horrors that wield and memories in stack.
But where evil stirred, hope remain aloud,
Distant to the legend like smoke and cloud.
To the tales that speak, the journey be told,
That gone back home the hero of old.
