Dappled Summer

Dappled summer, present the runners,
Strollers, makers, fathers and mothers.
Here come the dogs, loyal and kind,
They dare to go out whether rain or shine.
And up from above, a covenant light
A gather of shades of yellow-green sight
An infinite day, and never the grim,
A lady stand strong on a confluent whim.
