Arrival

Out from the barren, distant waste,
Ruinous powers that come not haste.
For there behind that decrepit gate,
Whose lives brought death from fate.
And here, once more, bravery fool,
Cautious minds upon the rule.
Venture not gain, venture not all,
The mounted graves behind its thrall.
